As country manager for Germany you will be responsible for the development and growth of Sellpy’s business in our first international market. Aided by our Swedish launch team you will play a key role in setting up Sellpy in Germany. You will be involved in localizing our product, setting up the supply chain, hiring a team and much more. Launching will however only be the first minor step and as soon as we’re live, it will be your responsibility to grow the German business as quickly as possible and make sure we’re delivering delight to all our users. As our first international market, Sellpy Germany will become what you make of it and the job will be both demanding and immensely rewarding at the same time. If you’re dreaming about starting your own company but think it’s a bit too risky, this is as close you can get without betting everything on red.


This is first and foremost a role for a doer with a strong business acumen, focusing on reaching new users and extending the Sellpy service to the masses. But as the country manager, you’ll also be responsible for operational excellence and maintaining great quality throughout the customer experience. Customer support, local marketing, supply chain management, service quality management, social media, PR — all of these sit under the country manager. We will expect you to roll up your sleeves and get stuff done when needed but also that you grow with the business and hire an outstanding team to support you along the way. You will of course get plenty of support from the Swedish HQ, but we believe in solving local problems with local solutions, so understanding your market and delivering custom messages is important. This is where creativity meets analytics head on. 


  • Work with Sellpy’s Launch team to launch Sellpy in Germany
  • Initiate creative local marketing strategies and user growth campaigns
  • Manage deployment and quality of supply chain
  • Hire great talent to build out Sellpy’s team in Germany
  • Represent Sellpy at local events and with local PR
  • Manage local regulatory concerns 
  • Communicate product/process needs to HQ, work with product/engineering to deliver on them
