At Sellpy we're proud to be the leading selling service and e-commerce for second hand goods in Sweden. Due to our fast and solid growth, we are looking for our first ever Regional Manager, Sweden for our headquarter in Stockholm as part of a friendly and hard-working team. As Regional Manager for Sweden you are both a doer and strategic thinker responsible for the growth and development of Sellpy’s business in our largest market, our home market. 

This is a brand new role providing a fantastic opportunity to be part of shaping the future of Sellpy’s business in Sweden. You will be responsible for growing the Swedish business by identifying potential areas in which to invest, convert insights into valuable growth initiatives and delivering delight to even more users.

You are a self-starter and a doer with a strong business acumen and sales drive, focusing on finding smart ways of reaching new users and extending the Sellpy service to the masses. You are also responsible for delivering the best possible customer experience across the customer journey including but not limited to local marketing, customer support, CRM and partnerships by working closely together with all parts of the business to achieve this.

The Regional Manager, Sweden is part of the Management Team and reports to the CEO.

What you will do: 

  • Build and develop the new Commercial Team in Sweden
  • Responsible for delivering on the sales targets for Sweden
  • Develop in-depth understanding for what drives growth and engagement and leverage those insights in order to grow number of sellers, buyers and transactions
  • Identify potential partnership opportunities – as well as prepare sales pitch presentations, negotiate and finalize commercial agreements
  • Identify and initiate relevant local marketing strategies and activities to grow our user base 
  • Work together with the other Region Heads, as well as the Creative and Digital Team, to decide and give input on global campaigns and marketing assets needed
  • Protect brand integrity via implementation of our brand strategy, values and go to market strategy
  • Represent Sellpy at local events and with local PR
  • Communicate product/process needs and insights to HQ and work together with Product/Engineering Team to deliver on them
  • Part of the Management Team

Your qualifications: 

  • 4+ years of consulting, marketing, sales and/or business development experience
  • Data-driven decision mentality and sound business judgement through strong analytical thinking
  • Financially skilled and experience in working with e.g. P&Ls and budgets
  • Creative solutions driven mindset, with a *get shit done* attitude
  • Stellar networking and negotiation skills and the ability to make smart partnerships happen
  • Entrepreneurial DNA and a bias towards action
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Fluent in Swedish & English

We are impressed if you have: 

  • Relevant experience in consumer service marketing or e-commerce 
  • Leadership experience
