General Manager, Nordics at Sellpy
We’re looking for a commercially, data-driven and hands-on General Manager to head up the Nordic region, with a strong focus on Sweden. In this role, you’ll be fully responsible for market performance, brand presence, and customer experience for buyers and sellers across our Nordic markets. You’ll collaborate across teams—from marketing and operations to product and customer service—to drive sustainable growth and deliver on our mission to make second-hand the first choice.
In short, you will
- Be fully responsible for the P&L of our Nordic markets — especially Sweden — and own key goals like growth, profitability, customer acquisition, retention and ensuring a great service experience.
- Create and run the marketing strategy for your region, and manage the budget.
- Grow our selling service by attracting and retaining sellers, increasing inflow, and ensuring a high-quality assortment.
- Attract and retain buyers with strong local branding, campaigns, and a compelling value proposition. Drive strategies to boost sales, customer loyalty and reduce costs.
- Work closely with operations, marketing, customer service, and product teams to continuously improve the buyer & seller experience.
- Act as the local voice in a cross-functional setup. Utilise data, local insights, and customer feedback in order to define priorities for the organisation.
- Manage a small team and lead through cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. degree in business, marketing or other relevant field.
- 4–6 years of experience in consulting, marketing, sales and/or business development.
- Strong analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Experience of working with P&Ls, budgeting, and business case development.
- Deep understanding of the Nordic market landscape, particularly Sweden.
- Excellent collaboration skills across teams as well as internal and external stakeholders & partners.
- Relevant experience in a consumer-facing business, ideally within e-commerce, fashion or a marketplace.
- Entrepreneurial DNA and a strong bias toward action.
- High customer service orientation and empathy for both buyers and sellers.
- Fluent in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.

- Leadership experience
- Language skills in Danish or Finnish
- BigQuery / SQL skills
- A passion for sustainability and circularity
